Welcome to Ridemate Cab! These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Ridemate platform, which enables users to book rides via carpooling with either private vehicle owners or commercial cab operators.

By accessing or using Ridemate Cab (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Use of the Service

• You must be at least 18 years of age to use Ridemate.
• You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and booking.
• You are solely responsible for all activity under your account.

2. Types of Rides

Ridemate offers two types of ride bookings:

• Private Vehicles: Rides offered by individuals using their own personal vehicles for carpooling.
• Commercial Vehicles: Rides offered by licensed cab operators.

By booking a ride, you agree to abide by the specific refund and cancellation policies applicable to the vehicle type (see Refund & Cancellation Policy).

3. User Conduct

You agree to:

• Treat drivers and co-passengers with respect and courtesy.
• Not engage in any illegal, abusive, or harmful behavior during the ride.
• Not use the platform for any fraudulent or unlawful activities.

Ridemate reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access for violation of these terms.

4. Payments and Charges

• All payments must be made through the app via approved payment methods.
• You agree to pay the fare displayed at the time of booking.
• Additional charges may apply in case of excessive wait time, route changes, or no-shows.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

Please refer to our Refund & Cancellation Policy for details on cancellation windows and refund eligibility based on the type of vehicle selected.

6. Limitation of Liability

Ridemate acts as a facilitator connecting riders with drivers. We do not own or operate the vehicles. Therefore, Ridemate is not liable for:

• Delays, cancellations, or route changes by drivers
• Any accidents, injuries, or losses during the ride

We do our best to ensure reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability or specific ride outcomes.

7. Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Information you provide will be shared only with the driver assigned to your ride for coordination purposes.

8. Account Suspension or Termination

Ridemate reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Misuse of the platform
• Unsafe behavior or misconduct during rides

9. Modifications to the Service

We may modify or discontinue the platform or any part of it at any time, with or without notice, and without liability.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of [Insert Jurisdiction]. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [Insert Location].
